Meet Doug

Hi, my name is Doug Vaughan. I am a 3rd generation Master Plumber with 43 years of experience under my belt and was born, raised and worked in this area of St. Louis, St. Charles and Lincoln Counties. I started in the trade at 16 years old digging ditches for my fathers plumbing company so you can say I literally started from the ground up. But that makes you a well rounded tradesman in my humble opinion. After a couple years of that I was taught the trade and I was taught by my father and his partner who were both true craftsmen. All our pipes and equipment were installed neat, level, plumb and square. It didn't matter if it was hidden in the wall or under the slab it was done right and with pride. For that I am blessed. I carried this philosophy throughout my career. I started out plumbing starter homes, Bungalows we affectionately called them and in no time I was doing them all by myself with out super vision. As young men sometimes do I yearned to work on some big commercial and industrial jobs that my father didn't do so after much internal struggle I moved on. I've only worked for a handful of companies but they were some of the best and I learned every aspect of residential, commercial and industrial work and was a foreman for most crews that I worked with. I achieved my Master Plumbing license in 1998 and went into business for myself doing a mixture of new construction, repair and remodel. In 2001 I added a Master Drainlayers license. With this I started pursuing "outside" plumbing to add to our expertise. Having laid miles of pipe in my lifetime, Installed thousands of fixtures and my share of underground pipe repairs I can truthfully say "WE KNOW PIPES!
